


Caregifters proudly presents "Spring Into Action," a citywide postcard design competition that combines artistic expression with social impact. This initiative engages Hong Kong's youth in creating meaningful artwork while supporting our mission to help the local homeless community through care package distribution. With an entry fee of HKD $100, we welcome participants from across Hong Kong to design a postcard, with the winning design to be featured in our April care packages. The postcard design should reflect the theme of Spring Into Action in Hong Kong, more context of the theme and judging criteria can be viewed HERE. Judges Panel
Our qualified panel of judges will conduct the artwork evaluation with each judge scoring the entries individually. Caregifters will calculate the average score for each submission, and the entry with the highest overall score will be declared the winner. All decisions regarding the Competition are final and binding.
Eligibility
The competition will be divided into two categories - Junior and Secondary.

The Junior Group is open to primary school students (P1-P6)

The Secondary Group is for secondary school students. (S1-S6)
One winner will be selected from each group, resulting in TWO WINNERS overall.

Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution will be made except as provided herein at the Organizer's sole discretion. The Organizer reserves the right to substitute a prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason.

Where do I submit my artwork after registration?

Within a week after registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to an allocated Google Drive folder for your design to be uploaded by April 6th, 2025. Participants are suggested to start working on their design while waiting for their submission link.

When is the deadline for submitting?

The official deadline for artwork submissions is on April 6th, 2025.

However, participants registered ON/AFTER March 31, 2025 will be granted a one-week extension for submissions. (i.e. till April 13, 2025)

Do we receive feedback from the judges?

You will only receive official feedback and scoring breakdown from each of our judges if the FEEDBACK REQUEST FORM is filled in and paid.

What are the payment methods available?

Payment is accepted only through Alipay and Payme. Payment codes for both methods will be provided upon payment in the registration form linked here.

Is use of AI allowed?

Any use of AI in this competition is prohibited. Designs containing signs of AI use will result in low marks/ disqualification.

Is collaboration allowed on designing postcards?

The competition requires you to submit the work individually, under the name of one entrant.

Where does the money from the submission fee go?

All funds raised from this competition will go towards the curation of our care packages, which will be distributed at ImpactHK to the homeless community.

Will my entry count if I submit my design after the deadline (6/4)?

No, your entry will not count if you submit your design past the deadline.

Am I eligible for a refund if I miss the deadline?

The entry fee is non-refundable under any circumstances. All funds collected will go towards the production of our care packages for the homeless community.

What should I draw for my postcard design?
-
Be creative! As long as your design is centered around the theme of Spring in Hong Kong. Additionally, consider writing a word of encouragement to the local community to uplift their spirits.

Can I submit more than one design?

Only one design is allowed per entrant. If the participant uploads more than one entry on their allocated folder, only one design will be randomly selected for marking.
